looks like the rear 1/4 off of a 2nd gen rx7, or off of the old 626.

having a "wide body" rear 1/4 panel would allow you to legally have a wider wheel base right, so that the wheel wouldn't protude out from the car but instead be under and inside the wheel well correct? is that the purpose in the first place of having one, to be able to have wider wheel base which would = more tire on pavement which would = more traction?

yeah but on the rear it does nothing but hurt performance since we are FWD..more friction = less power. that's why fwd drag cars uses the tiniest wheels as possible for the rear and biggest on front
