I dunno what an MX-3 ze is.. but, the MX-6 is a heavier car
the MX-3 weighs around 1150 and the MX-6 is around 1250 I believe and has much longer gears I'd imagine, so if you had the same engine in both (guessing thats what your meaning, the 2.5 V6 in both? ) the MX-3 would definately accelerate faster
but standard MX-6 vs standard MX-3, the '3 would lose really badly, the MX-6 does 0-60 in 7.4 and the 3 in 8.5 according to manufacturer statistics and such.. 170bhp, vs 135bhp really, and the 2.5 V6 has a lot more torque I bet!!!!
I'm gonna buy an MX-6 after my MX-3, seems like the next step up from what I've got now really, I think they look great, have a fantastic engine and haul a-- good and proper, with a nicer interior than the MX-3. have to see how a test drive goes though, I dont want a fast car if its not fun to drive.. something I like about the MX-3 is just how damn addictive and fun it is to drive

I always liked the look of the MX-6.. very sleek.. and for whatever reason.. it sorta reminds me of the MACH 5 from the Speed Racer cartoon that I loved as a kid.. *Chuckles* I already know I am weird.. now you guys know it as well
I think its the way the top of the car makes a bubble.. not sure really.. but thats what it makes me think of LOL.. would love to have one... but when I was looking around for a newer car (before buying the MX-3) I found 3 different MX-6's and each one had a different mechanical problem.

An MX-6 is not that much heavier than an MX-3, the MX-6s gearing is only a very tiny bit longer than the MX-3s and only in 5th and final gears, and if you ever see an MX-3 and an MX-6 next to each other you'd see that they're almost the same length. A stock MX-6 LS runs a 15.7 ¼ mile, my MX-3 with the same motor ran only .3 seconds faster, so theres not much difference overall. MX-6 LS handles pretty good too, but not quite as good as an MX-3 GS.

i must say i like the look of the mx-6 but with all the sh*t that me and my buddies get in to i'll have to stay with the mx-3 i can fit it in smaller places and hide really well plus in the falls here there aren't a lot of mx-6's so i'd stand out a bit too much
