Some help please!!!
When your car is in a really bad accident and you bend the frame as severely as it sounds, it is actually generally a good thing to simply let the car go from a materials and structural stand-point. You've now changed the properties of the metal through work hardening/plastic deformation, and pulling it out will put the metal in tension and may cause cracks. Could be worse for corrosion, should be worse for handling and so on so forth.
I know you have your heart set on only your car, but for geek reasons I would be thrilled as a pig in a puddle to be back into a car with a straight frame vs. manipulating the metal on one of the most important parts of your car and end up with something inferior to the original.
I used the place Darcy used that used to be called Tonys frame alignment years ago when the previous owner was stealing parts off of peoples cars before being shut down and the price was good then as well (I'm pretty sure I had all the parts I went in with as well). The damage wasn't severe, but I still didn't like the way the car felt after that.

So i have an unfortunate update. I think that I may just have to give up and start again. My buddy Joey works in and autobody shop, and he told me that even if i could get all the parst for super cheap and he gave me a deal for labour that it was still gonna end up costing me more than it would to just buy a new car
Unfortunitly this is starting to look like it is going to be quite the drawn out process, and i may be driving my poor little car the way it is for quite some time. I have also recently discovered that because of the hole in the back, even though it's covered with a garbage bag a duct tape right now (red greed would be proud) to keeep the rain and snow out, apparently that's not stopping the carbon monoxide, which means that i've always gotta have my windows down which i'm loving in these little snow storms we've been having the last few days... this just keeps getting better and better...

I'm sure temporarly fixing your rear end wouldn't be too difficult but I don't think I would want to do it, simply because if I get your hatch and bumper off, I wouldn't guarantee that I could get it back on correctly the same day. The way your bumper is kinked in on the driver's side might not be a big deal to attempt heating up and pulling out into shape again. After that some quick touch-up paint should blend damage area a little. The hatch area is more difficult. Since the hatch is raised at the hinges, they will have to be bent back into place. But this can also mean your hatch latch is missaligned as well along with the whole mating edge. That could take some heavy pounding to bend back into shape. It's a lot of work but can be done if your equiped for it. But remember that it would only be a temporary fix. Your better off getting a new MX-3 for all the reasons listed by Darcy and Kyle above. That was why I didn't repair my old MX-3.

I know this seems like everything just keeps getting worse and worse for you.. but.. look on the bright side.. even if its still not easy to see yet.. when you do get another MX-3.. you will have a good donor car to take care of any problems that might crop up with your new car. And in a small way.. that means the car you have now will live on for a long time... Unfortunately.. body work is pretty much the most expensive part of working on any car. Almost everything else can be dealt with pretty cheaply if it comes to that.. so maybe find a car that has the body in great shape... but needs to have the interior fixed up.. etc.. might be able to find another MX-3 for a lot less $$$$ that way too.. Best of luck in anycase.

havent been on for a while sorry to hear the crappy news. I found out my bros friend doesnt work at that shop anymore so Im no help.... but... maybe you can be of a huge help to me. By what chance is your car a v6 and if so how much would you want for the transmission as mine just went pop on friday.

LOL, yes it is a V-6 and I will be selling my car for parts. Unfortunitly because I will have to sue this guy in order to get any money for my car it may be a while, because i don't have any other way to get around. It may be sooner than expected though, as he may want to settle out of court, unfortunitly he lives on the reserve and has no phone, so i haven't been able to contact him. I'll keep you guys updated and you'll be the first ones to know if i'm gonna sell.

I'm also sorry to hear about your ride, and I know how it feels ( Sort of ). I nailed a deer in January and car was nearly written off. The car is in the shop now but they won't swap old parts out to fix it. I asked! When you like/love your car and it's damaged, it really bugs you. Keep your spirits up. James and the guys with MX-West are very helpful locating parts and hooking you up if you can't find any. They have been a great organization. Whatever happens, keep in touch. I was also told of National Collison and Autobody, they also deal with aftermarket parts if you want to look into that.

My car's a little dirty in the pics, but honestly rust from the salt is the least of my worries right now. As you all can see it's a pretty bad wreck. There is some good news! I've found a really nice MX-3 for sale. It's a year newer than mine, and it's got some really nice mods. I'll keep you guys posted, but it may be nice enough to enter in that show you've been talking about.
