Nah.. freeway miles are the kindest miles you can put on your engine.. just keep the oil clean and you wont have any issues.

This topic may seem retarded but the reason I ask is cause i Drove my 92 rs 4000km in 2 days almost non stop one way and the return again 10 days later and the car was never the same. Seemed to lack power a bit. Any ideas why?

Probably got it a bit to hot.. in general though.. if your car & engine are in good operating condition.. you shouldnt have any issues.. but it might be prudent to do a coolant flush and replace your thermostat.. check to make sure that your electric fan(s) spin up at the proper temp.. etc.. just a general checkup. Or have a shop do a inspection/analysis on your car before hand.

May Daily runabout has a mind of its own when it comes to performance

Some days it will eat Evo's, other days well it runs and thats all that
can be said, mind you must have been a sick evo for a daewoo to outrun

I clock up just over 12,000 miles a year just going to work, and can tell
when the oil change is up as power drop off is noticable....

So regular oil changes as well as plugs helps also check your leads
resistance as over time they "wear" ...
