I = Newb!

Post by aku4lyph »

Ok, so i'm a car enthusiast and always into modding cars and all that fun stuff
so far i've done work on hondas, mitsubishis, vws, and... vans :confused2: YES, vans

I do all that i can from Graphics to In-Car PCs - what can i say, i'm a Tech geek - last car i worked with was with a mitsubishi lancer, that profject was damn near done (Knight Rider Ver. 2) until i woke up one one day heading to work, i click my auto starter button and... i heard nothing, so i went out and clicked on my horn button to see if i just happened to parked it somewhere else than i thought... well - the damn thing got stolen, it was my "black beauty" - all-around limo tints, Gunmetal paint job, and low profiles on 17's, lowered it about 2 inches with some EIBACHs - i was so close to ordering the turbo kit too! :evil: had the evo7 body kit awaiting in my storage with cf hood and trunk - god it was a sexy machine!

n e who... i'm looking to redeem myself with the hopes of remaking such a thing - but not with the lancer, but with a mazda (cars i haven't touched yet) then i saw the mx3... i fell for it - i want it, and i want to make my project using the mx3 - NOW being that i'm a newb to the MAZDA WORLD - can you guys lend a helping hand and show me where i can get the parts, what i should look for, all that fun stuff... i need it all!

can you guys help?

thanks!

Well theres a good handfull of body kits, and there isn't really a favorite,

The drift and bc2 kit seems to be the hit right now....they look great, and are dirt cheap. They also have a K-MAX kits. http://www.cheapkitsdirect.com I've heard good things about them as far as looks, price, fitement, and quality.

Next is pakfeifer (http://www.pakfeifercanada.com)
They're most popular ones are the Pakfeifer Series 1 and series 2. Great quality and great look (my favorite) but one the more expensive side.

Series 2

FX design (http://www.compusmart.ab.ca/fx/Mazda.htm) has 2 kits that are alright, although some people have had problems with fitement, although they look nice.

http://www.onderground-design.com also has some kits, moslty resembling packififre or fx design, but check em out anyway.

Corksport.com sells the OEM body kit as well, less flashy and cheap. They also have some others (resembling obouve body kits)

Check out the sites, and look at all the body kits. Search around THIS site for recomendations, and good luck.
