You know what this whole "ricer VS racer, honda VS mazda" BS reminds me of? It reminds me of highschool, when everyone was a "prep, jock, nerd, bandgeek, raver, punk, goth, or skater".
Whatever you guys, just shut up about this kind of thing.. Labels are lame. We learned that when we were 18 remember?
If someone put time and effort into something. It is precious, and should get respect. Even if it is critisizm, it should be respectful.
Examples:
Good:
"Not my style, but who cares, good job man!"
"You should try doing it 'this way', it will end up looking/performing nicer, but I like the way you are heading!"
Bad:
"uh, that looks terrible. I wouldn't be caught dead with that ricer ----. Good job wasting your time"
And whats with this honda vs mazda BS? It doesn't matter if you have a geo metro, or a mazda rx-7, if you know what you are doing, you can make it do what you want. Or look how you want it to. There really is no superior brand, its just a name. I've seen some crazy stuff in the past. I've seen vehicles that shouldn't do what they do. And I've seen people with 50k dollar + cars that can't beat me with my sohc mx3 in the twisties.
hm. I can't end this rant well, so ... The end.

personally I feel this has gone on long enough, Jeff. maybe closing these threads would make some people think you're an a-hole, but the important thing is this has gotten outta hand and we all just need to go back to talking about what our next mod will be and complaining that there are no projector headlights for our cars! LOL

Very, Very True. You cant actually buy any parts for an MX-3 anywhere in England a Mazdaspeed front bumper would cost me 1100USD so i can appreciate the Stock look very much, i'd also like a sleeping KL-ZE but mention engine swap over here an you'll either be rubbed out by your insurance company or laughed at by almost any mechanic you ask for help.Sam Baker wrote:ok.. just for the record, i agree with whoever on HondaTech said that europe is like 3-4 years behind us in style. NO OFFENSE to them, but they are.
I quite like the riced out cars but i like my performance too! here in England for a guy of 21 i own a super car compared to my friends!
At the end of the day a ricer car is SOMEONE ELSES ricer car an in a blink it will be gone again so if you really do... or dont like it. let it pass, your not rollin in it afterall. courtesy costs nothing.

Man when you ask for opinions your gonna get bad ones too. Plain and simple, its like some people just seemed shocked when people say bad things about another mx-3. Wow, why would you not let everyone else see all these threads? Its just gonna happen again if you throw it away. Just like history.
