I still dont have the pressure gauge, so I set it by doing a run, then adjust it a bit. I have the pressure set more towards the high end.

You forgot my mph = 98.21

OK yah, dense question comming from a newb...what is a fuel pressure regulator (i think it just regulates fuel pressure eh?) and how do you ajust it? oh and what does WOT mean?

WOT = Wide Open Throttle. The fuel pressure regulator increases the fuel pressure for a WOT condition making it that much more more fun to drive. :D

I wondered the same thing. I doubled checked the timeslip when I finished the race, and also after your question, but thats what it says.

Maybe he missed a shift right at the end of the track, indicating that he could have gone even quicker? Either way he still beat my best time.

He might have let off and just cruised after the 1/8th mile. Its possible he could run low enough times to require saftey equipment so he was just sand bagging.

This was the mustang slip:

Mustang GT (14.165 - 86.87mph)
Reaction-------.616
60 ft--------------2.022
330 ft------------5.845
1/8th et--------- 9.036
1/8th mph----- 78.11
1/4 et----------- 14.165
1/4 mph--------86.87

Since his 1/8th mile was close to mine, I doubt thats all he was racing for, his 1/8th mile time also would indicate that he would not be going fast enough to warrant safety equipment, except for a helmet for 13.99 and under.

Oh well, I guess we will never know why his mph was slower. But I still lost.

That stang is SLOWWWW. The last and 2nd pass I ever went down a drag strip (1/8th mile), I ran:

13.30 ........... 1/8th et
76MPH ........... 1/8th trap speed

That was after not getting into second gear with 3 tries, hit the brakes and slowed down 10MPH so I could put it back into first gear. Then spun through 1st, 2nd, & 3rd barking 4th on the 1/8th mile line. Of coarse I was running 17.5PSI on my VJ13/14 hybrid. :freak: My flanges should be here this week so I can fab up the manifold. I still have to reinforce the tranny and install the LSD. Then it's FIRE n DA HOLES!!!!!! Tuning time!!! I've got a set of RC Engineering 440cc high impedance injecors for sale jwmmotorsports@hotmail.com for more info. :welder:

my best time without nitrous is: 14.8@ 95mph.
I have a KL-36 ecu on the way. So hopefully things get better! But I still see people running the same times as me with the right ecu.
