anyone know what the hell that was all about?Originally posted by curtklze:
thats great advice. I wonder where Ive heard that befor? , but Im sure that some one will post tomorrow, that there tires are wearing out and they think its there camber , o yah, do I need to do an alignment if I lower my car?Originally posted by Gro Harlem:
Camber doesn't wear your tires all that fast, even if it is way off.
Toe is what screws you over when you lower your car. You MUST have proper toe or your tires will wear apart in 2000 miles. I learned this the hard way.
Get a friggin alignment when you lower your car!!

Re: odd tread wear
Yup. An alignment will check for and/or adjust toe, camber & caster and the following link privides a good illustrated tutorial on what these adjustments mean. Hope that helps...

Re: odd tread wear
That's the most expensive alignment I ever heard of, unless you were including the price of two new tires as well.Originally posted by mxprecidia:

Yeah, I was wondering about the same thing re tires. I usually pay around $100 for a 4 wheel alignment.Originally posted by JasonH:
