Whiteline Swaybar

Post by nope-mx3 »

I am gonna order a rear swaybar from Whiteline,
should I get the standard 22mm or would it be better to get a 23 or 24mm swaybar?
I got a `92 GS, and the stock swaybar is 20mm I think.
nope-mx3

depends on what you like...
the more rear bar, the more oversteer the car's going to have, and the better the turn-in. For street applications, you don't want too much.
I've driven a FWD car with too much oversteer, and it's not cool.

my car has an almost perfect balance.
going around on ramps it drifts side ways , but if you let off the gas or tap the brake the rear end will step out.
when I first got the car the back end would always come around on fast corners, but once the rear tires got scrubed in that went away.

Do you also have an upgraded suspension (springs, struts, strut bars)?
Is the difference really THAT noticeable?
thanks
