Out with the old, in with the new

Post by BNSracingClaff »

Well after six years and 70000 fun miles I've said goodbye to my '92 MX-3. I kinda let it go to the point where it needed more work to fix than I was capable of, so it's been bought by someone who has the parts and expertise to keep it on the road, which is the best result possible.

On a happier note, I found the Mazda's replacement earlier in the weekend. With any luck we'll have as many good trips in this car as I had in the Mazda.

I test drove one of those before. Just for fun, because I knew guys at the dealer. Nice car. Great gauges. Smooth engine, awesome brakes, nice usable foglights. A bit heavy for my likes. My Mx-3 feels like a go-cart compared to the Tiburon. Side mirrors suck, they are so huge, makes for a big blind spot. Also the seating position is pretty high, I had a problem with a headroom, and I am not tall, may be there is a seat adjustment for height?

Props on the purchase though. Suprised you would go for something so flashy...

sux u had to let the MX go... but hey, Tibs are awesome too. nice lil V6 in them. but what sux is all new cars weigh so much now... its hard to find a low weight one.

personally i would have went with the dark blue. but yellow is my second favorite color

I like those cars. Pretty quick too. One dude smoked me. Of course, he had a 75 shot of nitrous and I didn't. Before he hit it we were pretty even.
