Mazdaspeed Struts

Post by nope-mx3 »

Hi!
Does anyone know if these are available from Mazdaspeed still? I would believe Corksport might have them in stock, but I have heard some rumours that Mazdaspeed doesn`t sell products for the Mx3 anymore.
Since I live in Norway, it`s easier and cheaper for me to buy from Mazdaspeed, than from Corksport. (via a company that buys from Mazdaspees of course)
I really want these struts, as I have ordered a set of H&R`s
nope-mx3

You do realize for complete set of these it will run ya just over $720.00usd (not including shipping/taxes) eh? I would recommend Koni's they are the next best thing at $452.00usd (not including shipping/taxes).
If you want a good bang for your buck get the Ford Escort ZX2 struts ($160.00usd). They will not blow under the pressure of an mx-3 lowered ~1.75 inches (while the KYB's will). Though iv'e heard it's a stiff ride!!

Yeah I know :)
Here in Norway the Koni`s was $130 below for the complete set, and since I`m changing a lot of parts I might aswell get the best struts :)
[ January 29, 2003: Message edited by: nope-mx3 ]
[ January 29, 2003: Message edited by: nope-mx3 ]

hehehehe, you are the first I have heard that actually think studded tires is nice :)
Really looking forward to see the difference in handling!
Anyone here with Mazdaspeeds & H&R`s that have pictures of how low it stands?
Curious about how much of the wheel gap that will still be there.
nope-mx3
