Does anyone know why there is no "low fuel indicator" on right hand drive mx-3's (uk model)??? The user manual I have seems to confirm it.

Re: Low fuel indicator
There is no low fuel indicator in the canadian 1996 GS model either. And the gauge when it shows "E" actually has about 12-13L of fuel left (that is just over 3 gallons for you US types)
Re: Low fuel indicator
I just find it weird, they give a car ABS, Air con, V6 engine, electric windows.....and they don't give it a little orange led light that would be sooooo handy

Re: Low fuel indicator
I think our gas guage is usless. Like what RoundTop said above...whenever my needle hits 'E' i can still EASILY get another 100-150km's out of the tank.

Re: Low fuel indicator
I US/Canada Mazda took little things off the list of equipment supplied with the car as the model years progressed. I think 93-94 were the most equipped. In 95 they took something like an "oh ****" handle for the passenger, in 96 it was an ignition key light and low fuel light, I think intermittent wipers went on RS's as well in 95 or 96. I think there was more little things deleted too. Europe might have gotten a similar treatment.
