How to remove Precidia sticker?

Post by DJ »

Hello,
Someone part of my Precidia sticker is missing off the back of my car. So right now it says "Precid" with the "ia" part, kinda visible if you look at it.
I was just wondering how you can safely take the whole sticker off the hatch without damaging anything or leaving any marks.
Then I'll just make my own on my dad's vinyl cutter or get another sticker.
Someone told me to use some chemical to get it off, but I think that part is plastic and would probably melt it...

Also, seeing I will probably be making my own, anyone know what font that is or where to get it? Or another nice looking font to use that won't look out of place?

Thanks in advance!

just take it off with a razor blade/knife and scrape it, a bit of glue will be left behind but its easy to get off, dont worry the glass is hard to scratch, took me two minutes.

Mine came off with a pressure washer, vitually no residue, if there is residue , use GOO OFF or GOO be Gone...

Yeah, bro, I never had a Precidia sticker on my car, but that little piece is glass. I know 'cause it shattered when I got rear-ended. So, getting it off shouldn't be too bad.

Use a hair dryer and just use a knife to peel it off... no residue works great!

Thanks! Whenever it finally stops raining here (been raining and cold for the past couple weeks) i'll use the heat gun I have at my work to make the glue let go and take it off with a knife.

Thanks again
