I could've bought a lantis a couple years back. Some dood in NJ was selling one with 47k miles for $5500!! They call them "323F" here, and they were only sold in Canada in 1995? I think it was. THere are maybe 1500-2000 on North American soil that can be legally registered in Canada and the States.

They are sweet *** cars and have the 1.8 BP's in them stock. they use the same unibody as the MX3/Protege so all the suspenion stuff will swap over too.

If you can find one, buy it!

Haha, not only couldn't people identify my car BEFORE I shaved off the emblems, now its almost impossible unless they really know anything about Mazdas or someone else who has one.

Yea I know what you guys mean...Out here, people don't know wtf it is eventhough it's plastered on the license plate..."PHATMX3"
But that's what I like about it...it's not your common camaro, mustang or civic.

Somebody once asked me "hey man, what did you color your side panels on your acura with". he proably thought it was an integra or RSX or something. i might just put the new mazda emblem on my hood...just so people can know what an mX3 is.

:werd: I didn't even know what an Mx-3 was until when I was 16. My grandma knew I was looking for a car and saw "such a cute little car." She said she'd loan me the extra $1500 bucks for it, so I jumped on it almost before I saw it. One of my best decisions ever. Now I bask in the glow when I see those little ricers get all puzzled looking at my car.

I get a lot of, "hows your mx-6" from a lot of people around here. Pisses me off since its nowhere to close in looks. And about the last post, I had this kid fooled one night that I had a twin turbo rotary in the Cavalier I was driving. So I slammed on it and he said cool. P.S. Cavaliers arent fast...hmmm. We actually had to tell him it wasnt actually in there.

Wish i got "what year of porchse is that?" instead of "hah you drive an mx3" ive wanted an mx3 since i was 16.. im 19 now and finally afforded one. But as far as ive counted ther is 18 mx3s in my small 55,000 populated city. I see the same 5 at the mall everyday and another 2 on my street.
