My Sherbert Orange MX-3 Pics!

Post by JoBoMX3 »

Hey guys,

I finally got my car out of the shop. Here's a link to the pics.

In Prince George, you have to have a truck to get past the hundreds of pot holes and ****ty roads, so lowering this thing later on in the week may be the stupidest thing I've ever done in my life, but it will look good!

Letme know what you think.

I'm not one for the Rice-A-Roni air dam, skirts, and rear ........... but I have to admit the paint job looks pretty slick.

As far as lowering it, if those pics aren't lowered yet, I'd say it looks low enough as is. I know there's some wheel gap in the wheel well, but as far as ground clearance, our cars are already low. Guess it depends on where you're looking.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Cost of the kit to be molded on and the whole car to be painted was $5700.00. I had some body work like minor dents and door handles needing repair too though. So anywhere from 5 - 6g's I'm guessing depending on the condition of your car. You definately get what you pay for though. There hasn't been a problem and the paint is flawless.

The shipping to Canada was around $900.00 all said and done.

and another thing on the shipping and the kit itself. The aresspeed kit really didnt fit. They had to hack some of the fibreglass off the end of the skirts... The molding alone took forever and added about 2g's to the cost of the car.

Nice job. I'm personally not a fan of the combat style front ends.. I like something more rounded and less angular.. but it really suits the overall way you've done the ride. and the color? man that paint is just totally sick!

Nice work.

Woah...that's alot for body work. Fry, you can get that kind of work up near ottawa for less. But it does look sweet man! Very nice! A friend of mine has an mx-6 with the exact same color and almost the same kit, I can't get over the similiarity! Great job and good luck lowering it!
