Stock Sunroof install

Post by Spotted »

Question....
Is it possible to install a stock power sunroof into a car that has no sunroof?
Also, I heard that MXs' are all wired for all the options, power windows, locks, sunroofs and such even if they do not have the options,is this true?

I think the easiest way for you to install a stock sunroof into a car without one is to hack off the roof of the car with the sunroof at the pillars hack off your roof and weld it on. Other then that your just asking for a massive headache. Unless there is a easier way i havnt heard of....

me 2, i was thinking to get someone to install the stock one for me.
I personally know that theres different electrical outlets for every option, cuz i was the one who said it, but i never checked under the headliner. I am guessing it would be cheaper to install a stock one since its darn cheap to get a stock system than an aftermarket one, unless the aftermarket one has a mechanism which actually goes up and slides back unlike the stupid ugly ones that just pop up.

Thanks again Jarid!!
:2thumbsup:
Just one more question: this model don't have a sunshade, right?! So, maybe it's the ASI 300 QF model (28.75" x 16"), isn't??
