AEROGEAR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT New Body Kit Interest?

Post by streetconcepts »

Hello my name is Craig Flango and work with Aerogear www.aerogear.net on new product development and body kit design. We are considering doing a 4 piece kit for the MX3 and wanted to see what interest would be like and what styles of kits MX3 owners would prefer.

I will be posting pics of our new hybrid 2 series line shortly that we are most interested in doing for the MX3.

Here is the proposed design on a new gen honda civic

Front

<img src="http://www.krazykustomz.com/hybrid2/5.jpg" alt=" - " />

Side
<img src="http://www.krazykustomz.com/hybrid2/3.jpg" alt=" - " />

Rear
<img src="http://www.krazykustomz.com/hybrid2/4.jpg" alt=" - " />

There is also a possibility that we may offer a fender flare kit as well. I am anxious to get some feedback so let it flow.

Thanks

the front looks very much like the Mazdaspeed/Corksport/Erebuni front bumper.

You might wanna change it a little, so it`s more unique.

Nice to meet you man. I'm moving up close to Altoona in about 3 weeks and i wanna stop by your shop at some point to see whatcha got. As far as the kit, i dont believe the first looks anything like the MS front as its alot less agressive. All products shown would be very original on an mx-3 and i'm sure once people see this post your interest will come. Maybe i'll get one for my mx-project coming up jan of 04 :2thumbsup:

Loving the front of the Hybrid 2, the kit as a whole is really clean looking. Much rather see that one go into production than the other two suggested.

i think the price will be the main factor in how much interest you have. im sayin this because most decent kits are upwards or 700 or 800 usd. but my opinion i like them in the order u put them. the hybrid 2 kit, then the gold kit, then the last kit. except i like the gold body kits side skirts with the hybrid kits front and rear. im lookin into gettin some aftermarket pieces for the outside of my car. ill keep checkin here to see what happens.

Our kits follow a standard price structure.

retail
$400 for bumpers
$300 for sideskirts
$1100 for a 4 piece kit

most kits sell for 10% off after the first production run of 25 is sold.

These kits are top quality fibergl*** with a premium quality baby blue gelcoat that is of finish quality. These panels need scuffed and are ready for primer in most cases. These kits are also backed up with a lifetime warrenty.

As far as the Blitz, Evo, and Buddy Club styles we are more interested in bringing our own styles to the market. We have a new fender design coming out that we may do for the MX3 as well. We may do the kits mentioned above in our D Cl*** line sold under the parent company of Wayson USA. We sell a ton of these kits from our online store at Krazy Kustomz but they are not Aerogear quality. The D Cl*** kits still have a gel coated finish but are not as perfect as the Aerogear line. I have access to a donor car and if we decide to do a kit I'll be starting it soon. I think the Hybrid 2 would be the best kit to start off with b/c it is clean and not too wild. Kits like this appeal to a much broader age range and I feel they really add to the OEM look of the car rather than change it completely.

I think it has an Evolution Kit listed for the 92-95 Civics-- on Aerogear.net

I like that one.

I would be interested in a new kit. I mean I am still one those person that still doesn't have a kit yet. I just want one that looks great and quality is amazing which I know is rare.
