Painting Interior - Sanding Question

Post by JoBoMX3 »

I've had my interior airbrushed for about 6 months now, but I couldn't ever get over the leather like texture they have on the 94 Precidia so I sanded it all down with a power sander. I'm not sure if I need to sand a little fruther to get at some plastic, but Ive taken off the texture and now all I've got is a rubber like plastic underneath. Smooth, but dull. Not the usual finished plastic on the 92-93 model. Should I continue smoothing it out, or sand a little deeper?<p>Jordan

I started at 120 grit and sanded every stage right up to 2000. Primed it. Sprayed it. Clear coated it. Wet sanded with 2000 grit. Clear coated again. Came out nice and smooth and very shiny!
