Increase headlights efficiency - has anyone tried this?

You do this by, opening the sealent on the headlight itself. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and with what success? I don't like the idea of having to get new headlights if I make a mistake.

Yes, I did. It works, to a degree, though. It makes the lights appear brighter to on-comming traffic, so you can blind a--holes more easily, but as far as lighting up the road more it doesn't do that.
Also, it removes that "star" pattern you can see on low-beams sometimes.
Get HIDs if you want more light output.
~A

That makes 3 of us for HID's. They are a whole lot better.
