New Hood
every mx-3 owner, i need some opinion.<BR>i am going to re-paint my mx-3 .. i am thinking to paint the hood Black(haha, look like fiber hood), and the body is original blue colour.<BR>is that good idea????????<BR>please help!!!

ummmmm NO. that would look like crap. Either hold out for real carbon fiber or nothing.

DON'T do something to make it look like c/f. If you want a black hood, just go with a black hood but I don't think it would look good.

That look was used on the 1969 dodge superbee<BR>and the 1970 dodge challenger T/A.(both were REAL bad a-- cars)<P>Both had flat black(not gloss black) fiber glass hoods with large hood scoops from the factory.<P>Now only racers with no money do it.<BR>The hoods come from the supplyer flat black and the racers spend the money on going faster insted of painting the hood.<P>Oh yah, possers who wanna look like they are racers do it to.
