yes, a flop is a pearl but flop is used because pearl is an actual color. when doing something other than "pearl" ie silver, blue or green it is called a flop. some do say a silver, blue etc pearl though.
i got a 90 pgt...but wish it was a mx-3 bp-t!

Swap the engine WHEN you paint the car so you can paint in the engine bay too.

agreed TsiMiata, please do not be like every other honda/acura/dodge/nissan owner and go with flames, save the flames for the people stuck in the 50's and save the stripes for the mullets who drive 5.0's... 1 bad *** solid color will win you many more looks and when you get it done do it right when it comes to paint cheap is a bad thing..flakes are not fun ...

double agreed...i've seen a number of mx-3's that have seriously made me ashamed to be an owner. i dont mind crazy colors, and by all means do what you want, actually a navy blue would look cool, but for me its blaze red! body w/stock bumpers and all that jazz ..the mx-3 is a great car and i cant stand seeing people muff it up

To each their own, some people wanna car for show, some want one for racing, some want both, it's up to it's owner to decide, and no one else's.

even tho i choose what goes onto my car, i ask for opinions so i can see if im heading in the right direction or what other people simply think of it.. but i dont ask for an opinion hoping to change my mind about the modification.

agreed 100%

i see race stripes like 12 times a day(probably because they are cheap when not put on professionally).

i never see flames but they are for hotrods anyways.
