You can try to use a tiny flathead screwdriver to try and reverse it out very carefully. I had to do this two times on my SOHC when I overtightened the valvecover bolts.
It works pretty well-- or maybe I was just lucky!
BTW-- in your fist pst you said it was stick in the valve cover... you do mean the cylinder head, right?

Re: uh-oh.....
it looks like its sticking out of the head a little bit so you may get lucky and just be able to grab it with some pliers and back it out

Re: uh-oh.....
If the bolt's in the cover, don't worry about it. The threading on the bottom is more important. Just drill it out. Start with a small diameter bit and work up to the size of the original hole.
Re: uh-oh.....
just got the cover off...it's in the head. i've tryed plyers n' such but it wont back out....im PISSED!
Re: uh-oh.....
Don't you guys have easy outs? Getting out broken bolts is what they're made for.

Re: uh-oh.....
i've heard of em, but im afraid to get metal shavings everywhere! i figure if i leave the cover on, shavings shouldnt go everywhere and get all screwed up inside my head...but im still nervous. i'll probably end up getting one monday.
