aftermarket KL-ZE Cams?

Post by bubbaflaat »

Does anyone have any experiance with any aftermarket performance cams? I've read some threads on probetalk about some from Colt Cams, for a set of 210 degree cams from them it is $420 USD. Plus you give them your cores. I don't know if it would be worth it. But i would really like to know if someone else has some experiance with performace cams for the KL-ZE.

call interprep and get some prices, i hear if you get higher end cams, they'll sell you new springs and valves to withstand the abuse for like 1000...

I haven't heard of interprep what are they like? Do they have any dyno claims or backings? I don't know their number, and I'm on a tight time basis right now, if someone could get me a phone number I'd sure call them up. Thanks,

www.interpreptuning.com

They have peak dyno numbers for all kinds of cam and intake manifold combinations on the site.

I want to see if Seli can come up with an aggressive grind for just the intake cams that'll work well with stock exhaust cams. After what Rob at Cyborg said about headers having the same effect as getting a more aggressive exhaust cam.

Yeah, aftermarket headers will cause a "scavanging" affect. If I spelt that right! I have headers already. I just can't get enough power! LOL
