The concept of an OBD2 (or OBD1) engine is fairly meaningless. The items that change from OBD 1 to 2 are the harness, the ECU, the number of O2 sensors and the way the distributor is wired up. So you can fit any KL (i.e. V6 2.5 litre) engine you can find ( I assume that's the engine you want to fit).
As explained previously, the difficulty arises if you want to fit a KLZE (Japanese spec) into an OBD2 MX-3, because there is no KLZE ECU for OBD2. You can fit a KLD (N American & European spec) without a problem. Just use an OBD2 ECU for a KLD, a KLD VAF and the distributor from your K8.

Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!

Thanx Ian
if i understand that you wrote,
you mean that i can fit in my car
a klde engine with obd2 ecu and vaf.
So if it is, where i can find a klde(obd2)?

Doesn't matter if you win by a inch or a mile, the win is winning

I don't know about Italy, but there is at least one seller of used Mazda engines in Germany. Two in UK mentioned in this thread.
