Actually i have OBD-1 As well so i'm stumped, anyone know what will go into a 97' MX-3- i take it i could fit the 2.5 from a 97' MX-6

I too have a '97, and I've bent my mind to this issue in this thread .

I've now come up with a nearly complete mapping from the OBD1 ECU to the OBD2, with the exception of one connection, and with a couple of (intelligent?) guesses. So I think it could be done.

If you want to have a go, PM me your email address, and I'll send you a scan.
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)

I'm from Holland and also have a klze powered mx-3, it's one of the first in Europe. Right now I'm importing klze engines from Japan for the Holland people. It might be possible to arrange something for Éurope as well, because the price of 900pounds for a klze is abit high.

Woudn't it be cheaper to buy the klde in Italy? The klde commes with the e-spec mx-6 and ford probe.

there aren't Mazda engines in italy like
mx6 klde or klze!!!
