Spacers? Or what...?

Post by Nottahonda »

Can I improve the performance of my car by putting wheel spacers in or should I get wider wheels, or just plain leave the stock set up? I'm not worried about looks so much as functionality.<P>------------------<BR>'92 Tropical Emerald Green GS 5 spd 90k<BR>~~Tell me about cool MX3 stuff!~~<BR>g00se@hotmail.com

short run MAYBE, long run ur screwed, from what i understand they will absolutlt wreack ur cv joints which arent exactly beefy n an mx-3, plus u'll lookk goooofy as hell runnin around in it, just do sumthin sensible, like get strut bars ets, better tires, n rims that should tighted it up quite a bit, n get sum good after markey shocks should help ya out quite a bit

I'd say good sticky tires, stiffer lowering springs, and a rear antisway bar would go a long way, assuming your stock struts are in decent order [mine arent after 101k miles Image]<P>------------------<BR><B><I>David Coleman</B></I><BR><A HREF="http://www.PinkMX-3.com" TARGET=_blank>1993 Mazda MX-3 GS Special Edition</A><BR><B><A HREF="http://www.highlandsun.com/hyc/sae920677/" TARGET=_blank><I>V6 engine info</I></A> | <A HREF="http://www.bradbury.cwc.net/probemx/index.htm" TARGET=_blank>KL FAQ</A> | <I><A HREF="http://www.brownsword.ca/Probe.html" TARGET=_blank>ECU reprogramming</A></I> | <A HREF="http://members.home.net/tekguy/" TARGET=_blank>K series Image cache</A> | <I><A HREF="http://archive.probetalk.com/cgi-bin/se ... tion=intro" TARGET=_blank>Probetalk Archive Search</A></I></B><BR><B>Support OPEC: Buy an SUV</B>
