Where'd you mount your power door lock actuator?
I just spent an hour trying to figure out where to put an aftermarket door lock actuator on the driver's door, and am having a hell of a time deciding where to put it. Any ideas? Pics even?

Re: Where'd you mount your power door lock actuator?
Is this after market? Becuase mine was very simple. Can't take actualy pictures, because I don't feel like ripping the door panel off, but I can give a general idea.

I would mount it behind the furthest posterior (for lack of a better word) door brace (large red circle). Then run your connecting rod form there to where the locking mechanism bends downward (small red circle). The line in between is you metal contection rod.

By the way, I'm assuming you have a "gun style" actuator, because that is what I used.

Good luck

Bene. Thanks. I can figure it out from there. Didn't even think of that. Just need to reverse the polarity to get it to move the opposite way.
