well let me tell u how my new years went

i didnt notice it was 7:30 @ work.i was supposed to get off @ 5:30....so i left
was just gonna chill over my boys house....play some video games watch the ball drop on tv

so i get pulled over on the way...the cop asked me wether i was goin "street racin"....that took another 1/2 an hour

so i roll in my mans house & one of his roomates "boyfriend", "man servent"....i dont know what he is...is passed out on the floor..so i step over him.....& went in my boys room....and she went out

so like 1/2 hour later i go make some popcorn & this guy is making the snoring type sound......so i was like f#$k....i rolled him over so he could breath & he seemed to get better..so i went back upstair.& one of the dogs i barking...so i go down this kid...(me & my friend only know his name & that he has diabetes) sound like he having a asma attack.......& he sweating bullet, turning red....& i tried to wake him up & his eyes rolled back into his head....

so we did the smart thing called 911.....well first the volenteer paramedics showed up....& they were more concerned that we didnt have any information or his contact numbers.....& the guy had no acholal swab & wouldnt give him a seditive....plus the had trouble giving him an IV.......then the paid guys showed up...we gave him the information......they were cool....asking whether he took drugs.....we honestly didnt know....so they took him to the hospital....we really didnt care we didnt want him dieing in the house.....we have no time for junkies.....(i not saying i dont feel sorry for addicts, but unless they generally want help i dont feel sorry for them b/c we all know what drugs do to you.....its crammed down our throats)

so besides that my new years was kool.....i just needed to tell someone

Well that's not cool. Hope the kids alright being a diabetic myself and all. It might of just been that his sugar was low or maybe he was on drugs, beats me.

I know that sometimes people don't get what's happening when a diabetic's sugar goes low. Mine dropped at CPR Fest 2003 in MS and the guys there throught I was drunk. So they tried to arrest me. With my oxygen and sugar deprived brain I started beating up one of the security people until my boyfriend (now husband) yelled at them that I was diabetic and they put me down. I tell you... nothing's more embarrassing then waking up to a crowd of people standing around you going, "Man, what's her problem..."

But hey I guess it just depends on what people have seen... ::shrugs::
