Get a M3 for a daily, and then, save for the ZE swap!
You'll be on foot when you swap

Re: Complete Frustration
I went to the Mazda dealership and was drooling all over the Mazda 3. And then I went to the Mazda.ca website to price stuff out. A fully loaded GT is about the same as a Spec V.... so torn. Gonna test drive them on monday

Re: Complete Frustration
I haven't seen the write up on the 3 yet but if it's at all like the MazdaSpeed 2003, it came with a turbo, that you can upgrade. If the 3 still offers that then IMHO the 3 wins hands down.

Re: Complete Frustration
Well guys, I test drove a Mazda 3 today. It was an Automatic, with the sport shifting, and a 2.3L. My impressions of the car.... I LOVE IT! Totally fun car to drive.
So after the test drive, had a nice long talk with the dealer and hammered out a deal.
$20,000 all inclusive, taxes, and all freight charges in. And then $6000 for the trade in of my car. So $14000 for the Mazda 3 GT w/ 5 speed
What do u guys think?

Re: Complete Frustration
Not bad at all in my opinion, the 3 is a nice car and I believe there are gonna be aftermarket mods like crazy for that car since its the same as the new Focus. And $6000 for your car is a hell of a trade-in. Cant beat that anywhere.
