Re: Jinxed myself - misfires 150 miles after HEI mod

This is the EXACT SAME THING that is happening to my 93 626 V6. Does your car run then die the first couple of times you start it up too? (cold start?) because mine does, always dies unil the 3rd try where it always stays running. My car misfires real bad if heavy load is added once the car is at id...

Re: [WTB] pre-fabbed HEI setup

wow i haven't seen that one before. the other how-to's seem so incomplete compared to this one. the only thing that wound concern me is the HEI is exposed with no cover. I might have to figure out a casing for it or possibly re-locate it somewhere else. hmmm i'll keep you posted as to when i need th...

Re: [WTB] pre-fabbed HEI setup

i'm not looking into purchasing it right away, definately in a few weeks. i'd also be wanting to modify a usdm distributor cap for this application. so what all would you you need for this tho? when the time comes i can send you enough $$ to cover the HEI setup with a new cap. What do you think this...

[WTB] pre-fabbed HEI setup

I'm looking to purchase one of these in the next few weeks. My car has a miss and won't go away. I'm assuming its the crappy distributor. Vehicle is a 1993 Mazda 626 V6 atx if it matters. I do not need the coil, i've got a Accel Super Stack right in front of me :) just need the rest. Shipped to Lond...

Re: [FS] BP performance clutch//modified intake manfiold & MORE!

well once VICS is engaged air passes through an opening in the casting to direct flow into the secondary ports. its a dual port runner intake manifold. the opening is a passage (about 1x3") above a dividing wall for the dual ports. what i did was removed that dividing wall. it removes all restr...

Re: [FS] BP performance clutch//modified intake manfiold & MORE!

it would take me a few days. i don't own a digital camera anymore. intake manifold looks like a plain BP intake manifold, just painted black. the modifications are internal. clutch has no rust, damaged teeth, no friction burns, nothing of the sorts. I would use this clutch in one of my cars if it wa...

Re: klze

none of the k/kl series engines come with a VAF (vain air flow), they all come with a MAF (mass air flow). I'm not to sure what you're refering too. Also the topic of discussion is a KLZE swap into an odbII equipt mx-3, not odbI. So technically speaking the Millenia ecu should work if you use the co...

Re: klze

Figured since this thread is opened, might as well make a *to do list* for you Ramsen. - Straight neck KLZE - Curved neck KLZE intake manifold - Pheonic spacers - Gaskets kit - Timing belt kit w/ hydraulic tension - Water pump - Lightened 1.8 V6 flywheel - Clutch kit - KLZE specific spark plugs - Fr...

Re: klze

unfortunate about the ECU chip. I figure we can get away with using the K8 ecu and just getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to help with the different fuel curves between the K8 and the KLZE. I've heard the K8 has the closest VRIS points...at least compared to the 2.5 kl03. Anyone know if ...

Re: klze

i cant find any info on here specifically for the ODBII swap either. So you can still chip an ODBII ecu? Correct? All i figure for engine sensors, is swap all the ODBII sensors over to the KLZE so everything fires and runs properly. Then obviously snag an OBDII distributor? Since you cannot use the ...
