I mean, when im in first gear and i give it gas the rpms go up but the car doesnt move forward. i have to rev it up to about 7000rpms and then it will kinda surge forward but it doesnt give much power till i shift into 2nd.

Does it feel different when you use a short shifter? Does it take some time to adjust to using it.

What is the difference between adjustable and non adjustable ones? Are they worth while and can you adjust the height and the throw?

i'm glad you found what you were looking for. before this thread dies i have a question. my shifter is really stiff and it kinda stops in the middle (neutral) while i am shifting through... if you know what i mean. if i am driving for a while and shifting a lot my arm actually gets sore from pulling...

I just put new rotors on about 3 months ago and they are already rusted. I have been looking into getting some zinc or cadmium coated ones but I havent found many available for the mx3. I dont want to spend a ton and i dont want slotted or crossed drilled or anything special, just ones that wont rus...

my car has a similar shaking problem. When I am driving it will shake until i hit the higher rpms (3500 or so) and then it will drive smoothly.

it is probably what Slammed6 said. axle or tire balancing problems.
