Re: Everyone who had a KLZE die!

Lakersfan built that motor right. The DE valve train is stronger than the stock ZE valve train. So in essence he eliminated the fault that is the most common cause of ZE engine failure. I considered buying it myself.. had even talked with my bank and was working on a loan. And believe me.. ;) I spot...

Re: KL-ZE Cyl #4 not firing.

Other than swapping out the injector.. I would also get a compression reading on that cylinder (before & after you swap the injector). That much fuel can really only be an injector issue. However.. a compression check will reveal if the injector issue caused other damage in the cylinder. Might c...

Re: Millenia Alternator

There is minor modification needed to use the Millenia Alternator. If you have read my FAQ.. its the same for the 4cyl car as the V6. There is a 3rd wire from the Millenia alternator that needs a switched 12V source. Thats it for additional wiring. The other 2 wires are just cut and splice in for a ...

Re: Millenia Alternator

Bumpy is right.. unless you have a serious need for that much more power.. the GS alternator is a better upgrade. For the GS alternator upgrade.. I think all you need is the longer bolt from the GS to make it work. Wiring is plug n play. For the millenia alternator.. its a bit more complex of a inst...

Re: Anybody got an iPod touch?

Then again, when in the hell are you ever going to use 80gb of music? The larger capacity Ipods were designed with video in mind. So you can buy & download music videos from Itunes, pod casts and other such stuff. I dont use that stuff and dont really have a need for it. But I can say that I do...

Re: Anybody got an iPod touch?

Oh they have been using Hard Drives in all full size Ipods.. I dont really consider Mini's, Nano's & Shuffles to be real Ipods. Guess I am a Ipod snob LOL Full size Ipods have been using hard drives forever. I think I have even heard of a 300 gig Ipod at one point.. but dunno for sure.. I have t...

Re: Anybody got an iPod touch?

Curious.. are the new Touch Ipods using Hard Drives or Flash memory? Just trying to figure out why they went from a 160 gig capacity (or even more) down to 16 gig.

Good looking wheel.. I dont think its worth the effort & cash. The helium 15X6.5 = 11.4 lbs and the 16x7 = 15.4 lbs. The 15x6.5 Feathers weigh in at 11.9 and the 16x7 Feathers are an even 15 lbs. (You can check http://www.good-win-racing.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fals...

No need to reset your TPS if you didnt unbolt it and it wasnt a problem before. Also, the gaskets from mazda arent paper gaskets either.

Re: Axle Shaft Removal

You can also use a dremmel tool and a cutoff disc. Even better control if you have the flex shaft attachment. Allows you to be precise with your cut. Glad I didnt have this problem :) Mine came right off with my impact gun. Best of luck.

Re: Front and rear tower strut bars

I have a matched set of corksport old school style strut bars in my GS. I paid a total of $70 for both. But then I was patient and watched for them to come up for sale in the FS forum ;) Just saying that a little patience can get the best of both worlds.. decent price and higher quality ;) Tunes67

Re: Charge Light

This is where old cars are nice because the regulator and recitifier are separate from the alternator and really easy to test. Still pretty easy to test on our cars too.. Just get out your handy dandy volt meter.. check battery voltage.. record the reading.. start the car.. and check battery voltag...
