Re: Where can I get new cyl. head bolts for my 94 MX-3 DOHC?

I just re-used mine. They are not a Torque to Yield bolt.. so as long as they arent pitted or stretched.. they are just fine to reuse. 38k miles on my DOHC B6 since I had the head work done. No issues.. unless you count the mitsubishi distributor.. but I digress ;)

Re: '08 New Year's Resolution. I Mean It!

Yeah but most of my stuff is all for the body work and up coming paint job on my GS. Though I will be doing an ignition system upgrade and an exaust upgrade and eventually a big brake upgrade. Did I mention the eventual HID headlight conversion? LOL Does it even end? ;)

Re: Some pics of my new mx3

Really nice lookin ride. How's she doin mechanically? There are a few bugs to be worked out.. which is why he got a good deal on the car. He has already bought the CAI parts to replace that... thing.. The charge light is on constantly.. so I dont think the alternator is wired in correctly.....

Re: Problem with Steering Wheel Please Help!

My 94 RS (has airbags though) has the lever more on the left side of the column. Dunno what the airbags would have to do with it though..

Re: Help! is this worth fixing??

how is OBDII harder to diagnose than OBDI? Overall.. OBDII is easier to diagnose.. once you go out and by the code reader and look up what all the different codes are for. OBDI however, specifically for our MX-3's, is all available right here on MX-3.com. And its free. And there are plenty of peopl...

Why should he bother painting them? He would only paint them flat black again anyway ;) LOL

Re: Help! is this worth fixing??

That car is toast.. the frame is tweaked bad and would likely never hold an alignment properly again.. would cost LOTS of cash to fix, IF it can be fixed. Even if you got that car for free.. it would cost close to $3000 to fix & repaint minimum. Just a guesstimate.. but thats big time bad damage...

Re: Problem with Steering Wheel Please Help!

The lever for the tilt steering for the 93 model year is located in the middle of the bottom side of the steering column. 94+ years are different. While sitting in the drivers seat.. slide your thumb down the middle of the bottom of the column.. about 2 inches back from the front most edge of the co...

Re: [WTB] three gauge windsheild pillar pod

They only list the 3 pod one for auto seat belt applications.. however.. having bought that one (and seen several others) All they do is cut the edge a bit to allow room for the seat belt mechanism. SO.. if you call them.. I bet you can get them to sell you a uncut 3 pod pillar. No one else that I c...

I have been pretty pleased with my tool box from costco. There is only 1 thing of minor note that is slightly annoying about it. When you have stuff in the drawers.. and pull a drawer all the way out.. the drawer will start to slide back in on its own about 1/3 of the way closed. There should be a d...

Just gonna leave it grey.. it matches the rest of the upper interior decently. I have similar to stock colored interior.. just with nicer materials. At the time I bought the gauge pod, I didnt plan to redo the interior.. that sorta came about later. Otherwise I would have done all the upper trim in ...
