Re: no spark klde swap
are you trying to use a 96 disty? if so that is your problem. You need to acquire a 92-94 MX-3 disty or a 93-94 MX-6 or Probe or 626 disty.

Re: Exhaust
Headers are not a waste of money, Do they make as much HP increase as say a nice set of DC headers on a Honda, Probably not, but still make a nice improvement on the KL motors. Anything to free up exhaust flow is better than the stock logs, where 3 cylinders have a ~1.5" hole to breathe from. I...

Re: best way to wire
you don't remove your A/C compressor from the car. just unbolt the 4 12mm bolts that hold it to the bracket bolted to the motor, and swap bracket over to ZE motor, then once motor is back in car bolt the compressor's 4 12mm bolts back up the bracket.

Re: ZE Install problems
I was gonna say a safety feature on these cars... there is never any fuel pressure when the key is turned forward to the on position. It will only activate the fuel pump when it detetcts the motor is cranking over. Just some info for future. As far as your clutch bleeding problem, I too had kinda th...

Re: quick clutch and pressure plate question
It'll work. Either a full DE clutch kit or K8 pressure plate with a DE disk. Autozone has clutch kits for like 90 bucks, and it comes with a new throw out bearing and pilot bearing. just get a full DE clutch kit from autozone or ebay for that matter Exedy one.

Re: Valve Spring & Retainer Swap Questions
You can swap over the complete setup Springs, Retainers and Locks from your DE. I did this swap on my KLZE MX-3. Just use the KLZE HLA's

Re: EGR KLZE
The port is there just like the DE or K8, and even the ZE heads have the EGR port, but depending on the Intake Manifold you use will determine if the EGR gasses get recycled or not.

Yeah, i got a legit set of Probe/MX-6 setup, my friend got the protege ones and as far as i know were still good.
But i did hear the protege ones were more prone to blowing out.

Re: I am thinking of Nitrous.
Wet is better than dry! Just cuz dry is easier doesn't mean its the right option! Ryan get your dang engine installed first. I would love to run N20 but alas, polizia would have me! It is too hard to conceal a bottle (plus illegal) and they'd most likely make me keep it disconnect most of the time....

Re: I am thinking of Nitrous.
That is a v-power ZFR6F-11 right? not a 5.. I guess you can also run a BKR6E-11 as well correct? Will a 6 temp plug work fine for the spray or would you recommend a 7? I beleive that 5 temp is stock on a ZE The 5F-11 is stock for the USDM MX-6 LS, and these are ideal if you run All-motor ONLY, you ...

Yeah its sucks that i actually did all that modifying to fit some K-sports, only to have them come up with a MX-3 Specific set a year or so later.
