If iam getting a spark, can the problem still be in distributor ??

Yeah, I tried disconnecting MAF sensor and gave it 3 cranks to try starting it again with no luck. Will replace MAF. Going to try starting it again with out it.

REGARDING ON GIVEN SUGGESTIONS:
CHANGED FUEL FILTER, DISCONNECTED ECU PLUG AND CONNECTED BACK IN.TURNED THE KEY COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE STARTING THE CAR, I HEAR FUEL PUMP WORKING PRETTY WELL. WHAT ELSE CAN IT BE, ENGINE TURNS BUT SOUNDS LIKE NO GAS AND WOULDNT START??
