Yeah. Been kicking around as a lurker for many years. I don't always login because I have more to learn here than to share.
I may jump ship from the MX-3 world soon, though. At over 200K miles, even with lots of maintenance my car is growing too unreliable for use as a daily driver.

Caps would be the perfect kind of thing to reproduce with a 3D printer.
Hmm. I wonder how much it would cost to draft the template?

Re: I want my cake and eat it too [muffler question]
My system was originally too loud for my tastes also. I have a 2.25" mandrel bent catback with Magnaflow resonator and dual tipped stainless muffler. Rather than lose my investment I opted to put a Car Chemistry baffle in-line with the current piping. Yes it was a restriction but I already knew...

Re: Oil leak near front - can't find source
A poorly tightened oil filter can cause drips onto the exhaust piping. I have a transmission front seal leak. If your car is anything like mine then years of accumulated oil and road grime probably coat most of the lower engine and transmission surfaces. Then you go driving and wind blows the grit a...

WTB - 4+ ATX Shifter Surround
I'm looking for the "box" that surrounds the ATX shifter. Must be in good shape with no paint, nasty scratches, etc. This is the part that includes the visual indicator reading "PRND2L".

Re: Ceiling...
Ryan and Mitmaks are right -- there's a lot to remove just to get the headliner out, and then once you get it out what you do to fix yours depends a lot on how bad it already deteriorated. On my 94 the headliner didn't have any kind of stiff substrate -- just a thin paper layer to which adhered a do...

Help me choose: Konig Britelites vs. Heliums vs. Feathers?
Hello all -- I need some guidance to help me choose among these three options: Konig Britelites, Konig Heliums, and Konig Feathers. No matter which wheel I pick I'd choose the silver or machined color, in 15" size. These would be for my silver 94 RS, and I've narrowed my choices to these three ...

Distributor, perhaps.
It may be your distributor. A problem with my distributor went from intermittent to constant and the symptoms were the same: perfect idle, but stuttery, stumbly hesitation when on the gas. The car would not rev past 2000 rpm. Turned out I had bad secondary coil -- but you replace the coils and distr...
