I don't mean that they replace the ignition barrel with a new one, but simply replace the old one once they've disected it in order to make a key pattern

Thanks for you help, I didn't know they could cut a new key from a lock.

For future reference, here in London they quoted £145+VAT to come out to the car, break into it, remove, decode and replace the ignition barrel then hand-cut a new key, about an hours work.

I have stupidly misplaced the one and only key to my '93 Eunos Presso, does anyone know if I can get a new one made somehow? (bearing in mind I'm in the UK and it's a grey Jap import)

Is there perhaps a key number printed somewhere?

I really can't afford all new locks!

How much for the distributor. I have a 1993 1.8 V6 (E-EC85) with a knackered disty, would your 400 one be ok for it?

1993 imported Eunos Presso 1.8 V6. The owner before me had replaced the disty with a cheap recon'd one a month before I bought the car and all was well for a few months.
