if u have 1 mm of clearance it is enough. the only part of the tire that deflects is the part touching the ground. my rear clearance is about .5mm between the wheel and the strut. nothing to worry about. btw, unless you do something seriously wrong like run your car up a curb or jump off a freeway i...

muteki lug nuts are good quality. they may be less in price and look like kyogens (duno how to spell it) but they are not the same quality. the kyogens are very cheap and strip easily. muteki is made by mackin industries and are very reasonably priced as well as good quality not all lug nuts are cre...

you are right that 225/40/17 is closer to stock size but if u have ever tried to buy a 225/40/17 u'd know that there is not much tire choices in that size. i can count the tire options with the fingers on one hand.

my wheels are 18x9 +24 and the 225/40/18. for the rear i had to use a 3mm spacer to clear the rear strut but my suspension has some very fat strut body. front does not need spacer only rear so it may clear with 9" +24 on a car with off the shelf struts. the wheel lip is a tiny bit past the fend...

if your dyno's are corrected numbers than it should not matter that the climate was not the same. correction factors provided by a weather station for dyno's which is often optional helps the issue of comparing dyno's done in different geographical locations as well as different weather.
