Your right it is different. The ball part is what bolts to the linkage. If your stock bushings aren't ate up then just use them if your shifter didn't come with any. Just put your bushings in the holes run your bolt through the linkage and shifter and your set. I have a 92 and I assume they are all ...

BPT swap

I was wondering do you have to install a hood scoop for the BPT to fit? I belive you have to for the B6T but am unclear for the BPT.

yea check the harness that plugs on to the MAF. Mine came loose on me one day and took me a sec to figure it out. If it comes loose just a little the car won't run.

Maybe MAF? Mine had that problem but wasn't all the time. I just cleaned the MAF and TB and the prob. went away...
