On a 92 rs (thats the sohc l4 model), is it possible to swap in a VAF to replace the stupid restrictive MAF from a GS or something? I know you can get a 2nd gen rx-7 non turbo MAF and that they are bigger (3" opening instead of 1"), but f**k, I hate those things. I want a 100% opening VAF ...

Does anyone know if the state of Minnesota performs emission tests on cars?? How exactly does one get away with having their Cat gutted out if they do...?

Hm.. I have the exactly same car as you.
I've done a little over 100 mph and had quite a bit more to go, but it doesn't get there all that fast..
I also haven't tested this fully yet, just haven't felt like it.
