I think the stuffing is a good idea in any system where you will be playing the volume at higher levels. I'm not talking about the amount of airspace the sub wants, I am talking about the reflections coming off of the back of the cone, hitting the back of the box and then hitting the back of the con...

Yes, I do understand that you want a shorter ground, but the fact is that the frame is going to take just as long getting the energy back to the battery as a wire, infact, it should take less time with a wire because the wire has less resistance and doesn't spread out. I just don't trust the ground ...

Grounding an amp COULD be easier right????
Could I not just take a 0 guage wire and run it back up to the negative terminal on the bat? I mean, that would be a more direct route, and it would be less restrictive than the frame... Why does everyone say "ground to the frame" when obviously there is a more effective way of going about...

Don't you use the blue power antenna wire as the remote on/off for the amp?? The solid blue wire will only show 12v when in AM/FM source mode. This means your amp will be off while playing CDs. The blue/white wire shows 12v as long as the deck is powered on regaurdless of the source mode. Some manu...

RCA outs on a head unit?? Two of them???
Hey, I'm almost done with my sub install. . . I'd just like to ask if anyone knows anything about this. I have two RCA sets coming out of the back of my head unit, both are female. The difference is one set is solid, I mean mounted to the back of the unit. The other pair is a cord that comes out abo...

All of the available options work as long as you know where to put them and when to. A high-capacity cap is a good upgrade as long as you know the system can handle the load already, it will stop the flickering, and its nice to have a small buffer in between the not always constant flow of electrici...
