When i get out of college this year Im thinking about getting a loan for a newer car and just tuning the mx for fun. Probably not gonna happen but im intrested to hear what others would do if they had about 10,000 for a car. Put links to dealers and e-bay auctions or something like that for 'proof' ...

I also forgot to say, the squealling noise only happens if i rev high when letting out the clutch, kinda like on a hill when you wanna get from second to third real quick and you rev a little high (thats what i was doing when i first heard it)... could it be that the clutch is slipping and thats a n...

This is not a belt squeal, similar sound but alot more muffled. I looked at the frount mount lastnight, and its hard to tell if its shot, but it was sagging to the bottom of the ring pretty good. me and a friend just swapped the turbo in his dsm... We were thinking about taking all of his old stuff (turbo intercooler piping, anything that will work) and trying to turbo my 1.6, but I wasnt able to find out where anything like that (oil from/back-to engine, coolent) would go... I went and look...

So their not recalibrating it just because they removed it? They probably changed something?

I was looking around at different places for some new guages, and i was reading the project stuff at corksport and they have a bunch of crap in there about recalibrating the needles! Why would you need to recalibrate the needles?!? You cant just take you cluster out and put the new faceplates on? Th...

eeeeeek... were there any signs to this comming on, when it hopped leaving mac D's was it the first time it hopped? or was it doing it a little bit before? mine, most mornings will buck/hop when i pull into the road. i cant tell if its the wheels or the tranny, but it hops. also when im accelerating...
