Come on guys, don't be so harsh. Each to his own! It looks like there was ALOT of work put into this car, how would you feel if somebody bashed your little while swirly paint job? And your extended rear quater panel/roof? If was was him I'd take my paint brush and shove it up your rear for making fu...

I have never heard of Hot Bits in my life, not to say that they aren't good, or aren't bad. Ya never know. They aren't super cheap so unelss they have crazy prices for shitty parts, they're probably good. I'd do some more research, search some reviews on google and what not. Also look at AST, get al...

I can sympathize with that.

We've been at at least -35 all week with wind. Sucks doesn' it. If you through a mug of boiling water out side it turns to snow.

Come summer it will be +40. So fucked up.

hahahah

best thread ever.

My old red one was Suzie Q, so it was a she. I don't really have a name for my current one, other than Big Blue. My car is an it, which is odd because my last one had a gender.

Why can't you just explain the technical aspects of it instead of posting videos! Yes, we get the point that you have boost on idle, but I'm not a turbo head so I don't quite understand every other bit of it. But thanks to a bit of google, i found it for the rest of you. http://www.rallycars.com/Car...

Timing: You have to buy a timing light. They are about 20 dollars or so for a cheap one. Simply put the clip on your number 1 cylinder and shine the light at the crank. You'll see some numbers, make sure they are within spec (check on the online shop manual..i think it's +or- 4?) Compression: Unplug...

Ok well you've been cranking it for a few days now, so change out the spark plugs, they are probably bad. Now, test for spark on each plug. If they have spark, then you can eleminate that as a problem. You should also check your timing, and check out your disty cap and rotor. Check your compression....

I had the same thing, and it was the disti cap and rotor... NOW. To figure out whats goin on you NEED to do an entire tune up..plugs, wires, disty cap and rotor, filter (oil, fuel air) change all your liquids, check for vacume leaks, and set everything (TPS and IDLE, and what ever else you think sho...
