Re: KL-ZE w/corksport reprogrammed ecu
Just found this while looking around for info. And I don't mean to beat a dead horse about an old subject either.
I have a '93 Probe GT and I have the JDM MX-6 computer and VAF. I have run it like that for over a year and have had no problems at all and never had a CEL.
Sorry again for bringing ...

Try to find one closer like David said though...
Be carefull with rolled over cars. When the engine is upside down the oil no longer sits in the oil pan....

Re: Underdrive pulley
I'd say it's worth it. Worth it if you can do the work yourself and the belts need to be changed anyway. :) Water pump and timing belt might also be a good idea to all do at the same time if your paying some one.
I actully did my timing belt, serpentine(sp?)belts, and water pump all at different t...

Re: "corksport" ripoff
That is quit a claim there man. I feel you are in error however.
Your talking about the Eunos 800/Millenia manifolds Corksport sells so the MX-3 guys can actully fit a ZE in their car. As for the heads swapping and the bulk engine buying from Olympia? Well, you just made all that up.
The Olympia...

Yeah, Hurricane was the headers I was talking about. I don't think you can get them anymore for some reason. I have seen a set myself. They ARE nice headers! I sat those next to the HotShot to compare. bout the same quality actully. Very well made.
Yeah, the ZE swap in an MX-3 is a VERY cost effec...

Re: Headers
There was a limited run of MX-6 V-6 headers made for the MX-3's. That's what you would have wanted to use, but I think they are all gone. As for the modifications it's nothing really at all. Cut the flange and angle it differently. I know a guy in BC that put headers on his KL_ZE powered MX-3 GS. AN...

Re: Is it possible?
Building that engine would be a total waste dude. Ok, you bore it out to a 2.0L and keep the same stroke. Wow, now you have a KF_ZE for the most part. You can pick those up for like a grand. It's a 2.0L V-6 used in the MX-6, 626, and Lantis I belive (the small engine that came in those cars). It pro...

Re: What kind of intake?
When I started really getting into cars (3 years ago) and performance I took a week of school and drove down to LA for a big expo thing. The International Auto Salon. I was planning my huge report on intakes too. So I met with the K&N guys and talked a long time. I was just also in Pamona...
