thats cool get it done tomorrow £50 for the belt and £100+ vat for fitting. that will do me!

So you're not going to replace all of the idler pulleys, the tensioner, and the tensioner arm? You'll be sorry when one of those breaks and you have to do it all over again. Most people also do the water ...

I will post some pics when I get them finished.

Getting the timing belt changed so could be a few weeks before I get onto the gauge project again, should look nice though! :o)

ye great thanks for your reply.

Ok it was a misunderstanding. I phoned mazda a few months back and asked "how much is a timing belt?" the reply was "£247 plus VAT" i then said "ok how much is fitting" they said "£1## + VAT"

Am i the only one who would think that this would indicate 247 + 1 ...

Gauges and timing belt?

Has anyone fitted Dakota Digital gauges to there mx-3? I have half fitted them and need help locating the wires for speedo, tacho and a few more and wondered if anyone could help?

I also need to find a place where I can buy a timing belt, at a reasonable cost. Any ideas??

Gauges and timing belt?

HI folks,

Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced timing belt in the UK?

Also I am fitting some digital gauges and wondered if anyone has tried this before?

Dakota Digital Gauges

Hi,

I am in the middle of fitting some Dakota Digital gauges to my MX-3 and wondered if anyone has tried this before??

If so let me know cos I have some Q's that maybe you can answer.

Ok mate thats great! I will nip into the mazda dealer to get the mx6 lights as soon as I can! the orange ones bug me.

Cheers for the view on the lambo doors, I probably would never have got them anyways I just can justify spending all that cash on doors when the conventional way works fine.

The Lambo doors are not really the problem as I have found somewhere in the UK that supply and fit the kit for £1350. Its the other silly things like clear side repeaters or I can't find a handbrake cover to replace the stock one? Just accessories like you can easily find for all other cars ...

I need some web sites that are not going to charge me mega bucks to ship stuff to me! I can't find nothing on the web where I can buy cool mazda mx3 stuff like clear side repeaters!!!!! I was going to get them from Corksport.com but they wanted some $40 odd to ship them and the lenses ...

I have never ever heard of anyone cutting springs before! lol they are so cheap they are like £90!
