Re: lower rear tie bar
Any of you guys have a pic of your tie bars mounted? I want to make sure mine is mounted properly. I'd like to know what it looks like stock. Can't find it in any manuals and no V-6's have been in my area lately. Thanks [ May 18, 2004, 06:15 PM: Message edited by: Technica ]

You probably have bent pulley's. Does it do it anytime other than when you start your car?

Re: Tranny Cooler In Cool Climate?
The life of your tranny depends more on how you use it, or abuse it. It doesn't matter the temperature outside of your tranny, if your doing 190 and downshifting into corners and using your "hold" button alot, it could be -20'C, it's still gonna be red-hot inside your tranny. My radiator w...

Re: A Few B6T Swap Q's
Awsome, using my MX starter and alternator helps bigtime. What about the OEM turbo piping on the B6T? The original one has a metal pipe that narrows as it goes over the valve cover. But most B6T's I've seen that have been rebuilt have either rubber/alum./or stainless pipes that don't taper off befor...

Re: A Few B6T Swap Q's
Thanks again JayDog
The GTX tranny I have is a 5-speed and FWD. Im going to convert my MX-3 from auto.
It's nice to know I don't have to use the 323 hubs.
I do have the sensors, but some are severd from the harness.
Can I use the starter and alternator from my MX(96) on the 323 Turbo engine?

Re: A Few B6T Swap Q's
I have the 1.6DOHC Turbo B6T . I also have a 1.6DOHC B6 out of my 96 MX3. I do have some remnants of the B6T Harness(bit of splicing to be done), presently on the operating table (what a mess)My B6 Harness is complete(the one outta the MX3). I have an Auto tranny in my MX3 that has over 300 000km on...

A Few B6T Swap Q's
Hey, what's up mx-3.com? I've got a complete 323 gtx swap from an '89 and I would like to know if I need the 323 gtx wiring harness for my '96 platform to run the B6T or can I swap over sensors to my '96 harness. The (the backyard Mechanic) brilliantly hacked up the harness real bad. Also, can I use...

Re: WTB: Full set of shocks for my 95 RS
Canadian Tire makes a bottom-o-line strut (those junky blue ones), i think they are made by a cheap a$$ recycling company cuz they really do suck, but they do the job (not if your lowered though, get KYB adjustables or Toiko's) Also... Munroe doesn't make MX-3 struts at all. You have to get Escort s...

Re: dropzone springs suck
If you think DZ's lowering springs suck, I'll bet you their coilovers are even worse. But you shouldn't trust my opinion, because my DZ's are fine, they sit proper and ride fine, and I like'em. However, I'm not cutting my springs in half so maybe my judgement is trust worthy? :pimp: Anyways, good lu...
