I get that too on hot days, revs stay up at around 1200 till i tap the gas pedal and it drops to 600.

I figured there was crap built up in the TBmaking it stick.

What are you trying to do? If your ECU is pooched and your trying to replace it, then get the same one. If your trying to revert to OBD1 to get a ZE in or to ditch your EGR, then you have another option.
