Re: 35 offset cause of my handling problems?

Yeah, I was afraid of that :crying: But my 17" rims are so :pimp: , I don't want to let them go. Can't go back to driving wintertire dimantions in the summer. I was thinking that maybe 205/55-15 would be better, but if width alone is enough ... 55-profiles will be "rounder" than the 4...

35 offset cause of my handling problems?

With my 215/40-17 summertires, I experience som handling problems. Whereever there are tracks/grooves in the road due to wear, the car becomes somewhat erratic and I have to shepherd it. I don't know the correct english term for this, (I would call it something similar to "tracking" in Nor...

Tyres and rims on bad roads

Norwegian roads are really bad, where I live there is a dfinite problem of deep tracks. This makes driving my lowprofile 215/40/17s rather tiresome, I have to shepherd the car at all times, and it gets a little unpredictable when changing lanes. Bought the car used with snowtyres on last autumn, nev...

Re: Rough shifting

Bought the car in oktober 2003, and to be honest I haven't given the transmission fluid a thought at all. So whatever was there when I got it

The temps right now are not extreme at all. +5 to -10C. Periods of -10C to -20C occationally.

Rough shifting

My '92 V6 with 165.000km is rather rough shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, and not quite as smooth as I wish back from 3rd to 2nd either. Seems like there is a sync problem... A common problem with the transmission? Easy to fix? Important to fix right away? I should probably just get the local Mazda gu...

Re: MB Quart DKD 116

Btw, I am also considering the Infinity Reference 652i. Do these fit? The Infinitys and the MBs cost about the same locally, and both seem like decent entry point speakers to replace te stock ones. (My HU is a Pioneer DEH-P7500MP, no additional amp, if that means anything ...) <small>[ November 16, ...

Re: Hi! New owner!

Thank you! I will certainly start there! I also ordered the Chilton book. All the documentation that followed the car is in German, where it was imported from. My German is a bit rusty, but English is ok.

Hi! New owner!

Hi guys! New MX-3 owner from Norway here. Please excuse me if I haven't got all the right car lingo down, English is not my mother tongue, and I'm a bit unsure on some of the words. Please correct me when I'm way off track on the terminology, I want to make myself understood here. The car is a black...
