Re: ignition wiring

It should be the yellow and blue wire.
That is the tach sensor wire.
If you are looking for a ground, just run it to a ground point. Take a look at this, it may help.

Re: cold air intake

I just want the answer, I don't want to research anything...

Just kidding. What voltages would I have to research? I am willing to research and post my findings here.
Just let me know what to look for.
Thanks

Re: cold air intake

Is there a larger MAF that can be used in order to increase air flow? Hopefully a swap that can be done?
This would be on a 94 1.6 i4, BTW.

Ok, I need to cruise by again to make certain that they still show there.
This coming Friday I will be out of town, so it won't be until next week, but hey, it's the start of something.

VSX Bumper

I have read about a lot of problems with the fitment of the MP5 bumper from Onderground. I personally was looking at the VSX bumper from FX Designs. Has anyone had trouble with this bumper? I was thinking about the bumper and side skirts. Has anyone heard any problems with these parts? <smal...

Re: tune up

Ok, so does anyone recommend replacing the "cover"? Yes, it is a 94 1.6. Sorry about that.
1 last thing, where can I get those plugs?
I went to their website and they stopped selling them 10 days ago.

Thanks

Re: tune up

Under the cap and rotor there is a plastic "cover" type of disk.
Mine has cracks in it. Does anyone know the name of this piece so I can get it replaced?

Thanks

1.6 DOHC Headers

Ok, not exactly, but I found this. This may help those looking for headers. Not a lot of work. Headers for the Probe 2.0 modded for our beloved 1.6 DOHCs. It's at the bottom of the page. I can't claim credit for this. I found it through one of Ehpl's posts. Work done on his car. I fully intend to em...

Re: Does SRD control arm bushings squeak??

Has anyone tried greasing the bushings and using some loc tight on the threads?
This might help. Try it let me know if it works.
Try using some graphite grease on the bushings.

Re: Upgrades?

the chip is not a good idea.
They do more harm than good.
They only fool the computer into thinking the incoming air is colder than it actully is causing your engine to run really rich.
I don't recomend this mod.

Low profile radio antenna

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a low profile radio antenna? I am going to shave the factory one and relocate it to the rear of the car just above the hatch. I want one that is real small and low. Something like the ones on the newer BMWs. They have this little "shark fin" looking t...
