I am having a very similar problem. I thought it was my set-up. ( I am running a ze with je50 vaf and a kl-36 ecu with a millenia IM and TB), but now after reading this I think it is the intake -I will check my air intake b/c I do have a custom made one that is all taped up and air might be getting ...

klze w/millenia IM
For those running this set up - what solenoids are you using for your VRIS points? (stock or millenia) Or did you guys just bypassed the vris system? I am asking because my vaccum system is messed up. After 3500 rpms my car won't accelerate and it becomes jerky. I think it's b/c of the lack of air. ...

Re: klze turbo kit group buy
quick question. If you use 2.5" piping will we still have to move the fuel filter and extend the return rad line?
IMO I think 2.5 would be better for our cars.

Re: Burning oil ?
When I had my 1.8L I had a similar problem. My oil just kinda disappeared and I didn't really notice any leaks and it didn't smoke, but it went somewhere. -that was one more reason to get a swap. What I did is put STP smoke treatment every oil change and it helped. It did not cure the problem but I ...

Re: Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel question
I have a fidanza flywheel and I love it. I sure revs up very quick, and yes it does also lowers your rpm quicker when shifting. - But in all I think it is worth it, -just have to shift quicker - plus it really helps when accelerating around a corner in a track. and no i don't have any drivabilty iss...

Re: kl-36 and millenia IM
Thank you - good replies. I will go ahead and get a switch box. Also to answer the question of getting the extra boost with kl01 cams- The klze vris is design to cutt off at 6600 - that is when both vris shut off. vris #1 opens at 3800 and vris #2 opens at 4600. The vris sytem depends on your setup ...

kl-36 and millenia IM
I was wondering if anyone knew the vris cut off points for the millenia IM. Is it the same as the klze IM(straightneck) -which are 3600/6600 and 4600/6600? Also - do the KL-36 points correspond with those cut-off points? In other words am I correct to assume that the ATX and MTX ECU cut-off points a...

Spring and Strut combo
Ok - I have been doing a lot of searching on spring and strut combinations. I have seen that people enjoy the mazdaspeed and H&R setup. I was wondering if the Intrax spring would give you a similar, but softer setup. -Basically my question is which spring is stronger and will the mazdaspeed stru...
